Natasha Spinell
Certified PreK-3
Welcome to my online portfolio!

I hope to continue to create classroom communities in which students feel safe and supported. I pride myself on being available and approachable to families. I think that a strong relationship with families helps students reach their fullest potential.
I grew up in New Philadelphia, Ohio where I met my husband. I attended The Ohio State University in Newark, Ohio for four years. We returned to our hometown with our two dogs and two cats. I enjoy reading, watching cooking and baking shows, and spending time with my daughter who was born in May of 2020.

Here you will find my resume, my teaching philosophy, examples of things I have done in the classroom, and letters of recommendation I have received.

My name is Natasha Spinell. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in May of 2018. I have my Four Year Resident Educator Early Childhood certification, which enables me to teach prekindergarten through third grade. I currently teach part-time as a Title I teacher for New Philadelphia City Schools. I previously taught part-time Title I at Perry Local School District. Prior to that, I taught full-time as a prekindergarten for Canton City Schools from December 2018-June 2020. I was a substitute for the New Philadelphia, Dover, and Sandy Valley school districts from September 2018-December 2018.

I student taught in a second grade classroom in the Newark City Schools District and also had the pleasure of volunteering in a kindergarten classroom in the same district for a few months. Prior to student teaching, I had field experiences in each grade of my licensure area.
